Screen Name ■

Enter the public name you want to appear on your My Backpack page, on Trip Reports you write and on any comments you post. It can be any part of your real name or an online handle. Note: multiple people may choose the same screen name (ex: bigfoot).

User Name ■

Enter a user name, usually something like 'John'. No spaces or special characters. Usernames and passwords are case sensitive, so make sure the caps lock key is not enabled. This is the unique name you will use to log in. Note: it will be publicly visible in the URL of your My Backpack page.

First Name ■

Your name will be kept private.

Last Name ■

Your name will be kept private.

Email ■

Enter an email address. This is necessary in case the password is lost. We respect your privacy, and will not give the address away to any third parties or expose it anywhere.

Zipcode ■

Your zipcode will be kept private.

A URL will be generated and emailed to you; follow the link to reach a page where you can change your password and complete the registration process.
