State Lands Photo Gallery
Take in the breadth and beauty of Washington state recreation lands. From sea to mountains, there is something for everyone - especially hikers! From user-submitted Trip Reports, we've uploaded 20 photos from around the state.
Some of these places you may never have heard about; others might be places you've been often. All are in jeopardy due to the massive budget deficit that the State of Washington is facing. Without new sources of secure, sustainable funding for recreation on our state lands, hikers will find that many of their favorite destinations on state land will be closed due to lack of funding.
WTA is working on this issue in Olympia. Please check our Save State Recreation Areas page to find out what you can do to help today.
