I am a stay at home mom of 2 wonderful boys. My family loves to go on hikes around Western Washington and we thought it would be fun to share our adventures/tips/etc. with all of you. During summer especially, I am always trying to think of fun places to go with my boys to make sure they don't sit on the couch all day watching tv. So, a few summers back I decided to take them on a hike a week during the summer so they could experience nature at its finest. While Dad is at work we take the day and go on an adventure. I hope that when they become adults they will remember how fun our hikes were and think of them fondly. Our goal is to help you by exploring these places, telling you how to get there, difficulty level, pros and cons and some commentary by myself and my 2 boys on the experience so that you too can enjoy what the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
