The peak is the highest point on the long spine of American Ridge, with views galore. Look north to the sheer cliffs of Fifes Peaks. Look south to the blue waters of Bumping Lake, the stark summit of Mount Aix, and beyond to the snow-rimmed peak of Mount Adams.
