Wow, was this ever an "exercise in endurance" of at least 14 miles round-trip. I am in good shape, so was able to do it readily, but my feet hurt from the ultra-rocky trail. Start early!! This is next door to "Mailbox", a route used by firefighters to stay in shape, but this is almost as challenging...
