Snow on trail
Lower trailhead to Mt. Ellinor now accessible easily with car and open (need NW Forest Pass). Roads in great condition up to there. Snow starts right after lower TH. Above upper TH, the trail in great shape until hit snow about 4100ft. Traverse over to chute in good shape - nice steps. There were no steps in Chute and we kicked steps all the way up. New snow and some had fallen off steep sides of chute but no issues. Summit under about 6ft of snow. We had very limited visibility but exciting hike/climb. Enjoy. Tom
