- Why You Should Go Now
- Wildflowers blooming
For those of us who are tired of hiking Tiger, Squak, and Cougar this is the hike. The snow in the Teanaway is starting to melt and this trail is usually the first to melt out. There is a little snow as you approach the summit at 5489 feet and the trail is in good shape. As this was a Thursday it was quiet and peaceful and the floweres are in bloom.
We approached from highway 97 on the Iron Creek road and were the only car in the parking lot all day.
