- Snow on trail
Snuck in a quick early morning run up mailbox for a quick workout and to rekindle some memories of a certain stump where it all began. Last time up a couple months ago it was waist deep snow and the mailbox was covered. This time the trail was wide open except for some "skirtable" snow up where you drop left as the boulder field appears for the first time on the right. Overall a dark, misty, cool morning with no views at the top but the flowers are starting to peek out and it cleared later on the way down. Had the trail to myself and cruised right up to the top where I left a quick note for ms. sour, from her favorite subfolder, to pick up next time she is there. One of the best parts was only having to pick up one piece of trash...pretty impressive given how popular mailbox has gotten!
