Be Aware Of
Snow on trail
Snow blocking spur to trailhead.
The road is clear of snow and washouts are far enough repaired to drive the complete 7 miles from the Foss River Road all the way up to the spur that leads to the trailhead. The spur still has considerable snow but another two weeks of nice weather and it will be melted off.

The snow covers the last mile of the road as of june 13th. My dogs and I slogged over it. The wooded part of the trail is covered but there are enough cut logs for markers to get to the open section of the trail. Half dozen down logs that are easy to step over. We made it to Mt. Sawyer before the thunder storms told us to get down.
