Trails: Annette Lake (#1019)

Off exit 47 of I-90, this is probably the most accessable of the Alpine Lake hikes. The trail is free of snow until you are within 50 feet of the lake, but poses no obstacles. The lake itself is snow free as are all the campsites. We stayed over night and had the lake to ourselves. Leaving Seattle at 3:30pm and having your camp set up 7pm on the shores of a gorgeous alpine lake, you can’t beat that!
