A drizzly sunrise in Seattle did not deter us from making an early start and trusting the weather gods to smile on us. Our faith was well rewarded with sunshine at the trailhead, near-solitude on the way up and a lovely lunch at Lake 22.
The trail was in fantastic shape, a little damp in places, a few bits of snow around the boardwalk at the top.
Only the discarded fruit rinds littering the ground near the boardwalk near the top detracted from the experience; please remember to PACK IT *ALL* OUT. :-)
