- Why You Should Go Now
- Ripe berries
Started at Cady creek trail off FR6500,it was very overgrown! Brush up to my chest on and off for about 3 miles until you hit a few campsites by the creek. Progress up to the PCT junction. We took the PCT and camped at LK. Sally Ann. It's a popular place. Windy and cold, but beautiful. This section of the PCT was not too difficult and had splendid views with lots of berries. WE then went down Cady ridge. The first few miles of Cady ridge are wonderful. Flat with lots of meadow and views to both sides. The descent is very, very steep. I'm glad we went down this way and not up!
