Scout and I met Peggy and Mae for a doggie romp on the trails. Since the tide was so high the beach disappeared and sent us to the trail system. Nothing much to talk about - trails are in good shape, with muddy spots. Some of the trails are mtn bike accessible and we did cross two guys out having a ride.
We hiked and talked for about 3 hours, the dogs ran after each other and had a grand time.

This trail is a true springtime gem for hikers and backpackers. Walk beside a raging whitewater creek swollen with snowmelt, enjoy the blooms of wildflowers and gaze up at the Stuart range.
