This was like an off-leash dog park. Too many off-leash dogs. My two dogs do not do well with other dogs running up to their faces. Our hike was unenjoyable because of all of the off-leash dogs running around...if you want to go to an off-leash dog park, please go to Marymoor or the countless others around here. My husband, myself, my two dogs, and the wildlife would appreciate that. Thank you for being considerate of others.

how about you either go on another hike or choose a different day to go. you should have known it is a popular hike for families and pets. i take my dog on almost every hike. he is my #1 favorite hiking companion.

dogs have just as much of a right to be there as humans. they do no harm being there unless they try to kill you (which most likely will not happen). if you people cannot deal with them then, again, find a different trail or a different day to go. it's that simple.

Leash and scoop laws apply on this trail. If you do not wish to adhere to these policies, find another trail.

i do not recall saying that I myself let my own dog go off leash. i always have my dog on a leash. if i let him off, he would be gone in a heartbeat. just saying that people should not be so easily bothered so easily when they go hiking on one of the most popular trails in the region.

you can't have it both ways. if there are leash laws, then the dogs should be on them.

that being said. kinda bummed that this wasn't a trip report. what are the conditions?
