Did the round trip to Rattlesnake Ledge with our 5-year-old daughter today. It was a great hike for the family as she was able to handle the switchbacks without much problem.
The trail was in good condition with some spots of mud. Small pink flowers starting to bloom. New signs were posted along the trail. Once we reached the ledge we stopped for lunch but it was a bit chilly with the wind blowing. On the way back down (early afternoon) the trail was pretty crowded.
Views from the ledge are spectacular, this is a great day-hike for families. Next time we may consider starting earlier in the morning to escape the crowds.
