a few of the snowy mountains across the way
A bright ,sunny warm day to wander along White Salmon Rd, gawking at Mt Shuksan most of the way. The road heads down hill, around many corners, and then back up to the viewing platform. Goat Mt, Larrabee, the Skagit range up Ruth Creek valley, and of course Shuksan were out in all their glory. on the way back we meandered through the trees on a more ruggged trail, and practiced swan dives, and rear end plants in the snow. maybe 4 miles altogether..... another blue sky, puffy white clouds day out and about.... the bare rocks, and green moss along the road edges , plus the birds singing were a nice addition. We heard several varied thrushes.....no one else out that way ......
