Short hike from road 5603 south to Lava Springs. Parked at trailhead on north side of the road and headed south. Very few patches of snow on the trail, tread is in good shape, no trees to climb over. The spring is running great, cold and clear. Nice place for a rest / lunch. Round trip 4 miles, 2 hours with lunch break.
