Took our nine-year-old to Annette Lake. The trail is in great shape all the way up to the lake. No snow, minimum mud, hardly any bugs.
The lake itself is pretty, but (on a Saturday afternoon) crowded beyond reason. Had to go off-trail just to get to some peace and quiet.
