Went for a evening hike on this trail after work to enjoy this pretty little lake that rests below the dramatic cliffs of Mt. Pilchuck. This hike sees a lot of traffic, so it was nice to visit it not on the weekend. The trail is in good shape, and nothing too much in the way of surprises other than a group camping at the lake shore. Lots of fish jumping at the bugs! At the south end of the lake I scrambled up the talus field to get a few nice shots of the falls.
I arrived back at trailhead at dusk, thankful that my car was not broken into. :)
