Snow starts just before lower lake, which is melted out now. Camp site #2 is completely snow free and spot #1 will be shortly, bear pole is up and ready for camping. Upper lake is gorgeous as usual, lots of people on the trail today. Few flowers or bugs right now. This is a great hike and one I do several times a year.
