Fabulous views on both sides of the ridge (west and east) and views of Mt Rainier to the SE. Snow at the top: take crampons for safety. Bugs (mosquitos/deer fly) were abundant; summer flowers just coming into their own. No huckleberries found, yet. Trail was pretty much empty. But in good shape. We did it in a little over 3 hours: 2 middle aged (out of shape) women and a dog!
