- Snow on trail
The approach road to the trail head is snow free. However, the trail itself is fully covered with snow from the very start. We encountered snow-fall on the way as well. There were no foot marks or trail to show us the way, but thankfully one of the team members had GPS.
The snow is fairly compact but it is very very treacherous with drops on both side with narrow way in between. You have to have poles and micro-spikes to make it through. Also be very careful of the cornice at the top.
