A boy, his dog, and a thousand foot drop.
Just a bit muddy in spots under tree cover. Today was a really nice day, so *hugely* crowded. Probably every 5th hiker had a dog (or two), so this trail is effectively a moving kennel. Grand summit views - our first time - and a great half-day warmup for bigger Cascades goals later this summer.
