Got a late start leaving Seattle and the "lot" at the trailhead was packed, but luckily we found nearby parking. The first half of the hike is very gradually sloped and a nice way to start.
Once you reach the "Teneriffe Falls 1.0 mi" sign, the switchbacks start and so does the bulk of the elevation gain for the hike. There were a good number of other hikers this day, but it really wasn't crowded at all. The trail is well kept but did get a bit muddy and slippery the farther up we got. This 1.0 mile was not strenuous and had a sweet payoff at the end! The falls were WAY bigger than any of us in out group had expected. The Mt Teneriffe trail did continue upward and onward from here, but we enjoyed the falls and then took a break to recharge.
After driving by the trailheads for Si and Little Si, this was a great hike and was not nearly as crowded as the former two would have been!
