We hiked up Thunder Cr to see how the snow melt is progressing.
The trail is clear of all obstructions to about .75 miles beyond Skagit Queen Camp. The recent crew did an awesome job...thanks!!
The snow started just below 4000', near the top of the first set of switchbacks above Skagit Queen.
All camps along the way have been cleared and are in great shape.
As long as you are comfortable crossing on rocks and/or logs then there are no fords to Skagit Queen.
The mosquitoes are definitely out.
Cheers and hello to David!
