- Wildflowers blooming
- Be Aware Of
- Bugs
This is a nice flower hike with views of a very tumultuous Chiwaukum Creek this time of year along the trail. We found several types of flowers: Indian Paintbrush, Large Solomon's Seal, Trillium, Tweedy's Lewisia and others that we didn't recognize.
There were a few bugs and a bit of biting but the trail is in good condition and only a couple muddy areas. One rather ominous experience was the sound of gunshots while on the trail. Probably just target practicing.
