This trail starts from the campground on Bonaparte Lake, and winds up to rock cliffs over looking the lake. Views were
limited by mist and rain. The moose were seen from the road,
and their pics taken from inside the car, as they ambled along swampy marsh on the southern end of the lake. The first moose
I've seen in Washington.... if the local moose are as prickly,
and unpredictable as their Alaska relatives I figured it was
best to keep a safe distance!!
