Water on trail
Snow on trail
We hit the trail in light rain at about 7 AM this morning. It took us a little under 90 minutes to the lake and just over an hour back down.

I was amazed at the condition of the trail. Its in great shape and has obviously seen a lot of love. Some water and some mud but nothing big. No snow until right at the lake. We followed the path around to the left but stopped before there was snow above us.

Everything appears to be melting fast.

I really enjoyed this quick hike and I can see why it is so popular. With the early start and the rain and clouds we only saw 3 other hiking parties and we only saw them when we were almost back to the car.
