Slightly less than 1.5 hours from Seattle, it's an easy drive out to a pretty hike. Variety, gradual climb, streams on the trail (waterproof is better than tennis shoes, although it is navigable with just tennis shoes).
Lots of people, several dogs (many small).
Perfect for just after the snow melt, early season prep for later more strenuous hikes.
