Decided to head up to Bridal Veil Falls today to test out our new child carrier pack. The trail was in very good condition. We got there about 11am, which was later than planned, but worked out nicely. We fit in between the early birds and the late comers, and had a relatively quiet day. The hike is low intensity, except for the last stretch up to the falls that includes mostly steps. There are a few small "creeks" that run across the trail, but these are no challenge and barely get your feet wet. The falls themselves are beautiful, and the cool mist is refreshing at the end of this hike. There is a nice little geocache on the way up also that proved to be an entertaining detour.
