This hike needs to be renamed and the driving directions need to be fixed. There is no Taylor river road. There also is no sign to otter falls. There is, however, a fork in the road with a sign that points to quartz creek and snoqualmie lake
We decided to follow the one to quartz creek, thinking that the falls might lead to a creek. We were sadly mistaken. There was about 3 or 4 miles of walking up hill with aggressive bugs everywhere. We reached the top and were greeted by the gloom which was a big cliff with no view. So we walked back down an walked partially down the other trail, however, it was getting dark so we head home.
