We hiked the trail in the morning and it was in excellent condition. Saw no one else on the way up and only three hiking parties on the way back in the noon hour. A few too many mosquitos for my liking at the summit, but a very enjoyable hike that was easy to get to. On returning to the parking lot we saw cars lined up down the access road for hordes of people going to the Rattlesnake Ridge hike. Glad to have avoided the crowd.
