Hiked with a dog
This was our first summer visit to Lake 22, which meant we had to go swimming. The temperature was surprisingly pleasant, an excellent Hike-a-Thon baptism.

Lots of cars in the parking lot, but it never felt crowded. There are so many places to sit around the lake that we still found solitude (but I can imagine the crowds are intense on the weekend). The trail is in great shape and there were hardly any bugs, so go now before the mosquitoes start their annual blood drive!
