Snow on trail
I ran into the WTA trail crew on the way up! As a volunteer myself i tryed to help out on the way back getting some of the blowdowns out of the trail. Keep up the good work! There were some easy to navigate snow patches before reaching the pass. After you reach the pass you descend fast. I used my ice axe in a few spots.. The north side of gold pass run has a good slope to cross. And this is where the route finding becomes more difficult. There is a ton of avalanche debris to navigate through. Be very cautious crossing over snow bridges. There are many streams out there. There were two creek crossings near the end i had to ford. Wouldn't hurt to bring some extra socks. I ended up flagging a few spots through the debris so i could stay on track coming back. So overall its probably a tad early for the un-experienced hiker. It was a beautiful clear day and i recommend getting out there!
Beautiful views
This is the avalanche debris you have to navigate through. If you hike this soon from the date posted that is!

Great job flagging thru blow down and snow. Looks like we had less snow, than you, but still couldn't see trail. Thanks again:]

Red Top Lookout

Snoqualmie Pass

Whether you're camping near Cle Elum or just want a prime picnic location for a short Saturday hike, you'll only have to climb a mile on this steep, easy-to-follow trail to get stunning views from a fire lookout (and cool alpine outhouse). It can be great for kids, but keep them close on the exposed summit.
