- Why You Should Go Now
- Wildflowers blooming
The hike to Mt. Townsend is superb right now, as others have reported, and the flower show is still going strong. Forest Road 27 is in fine shape, with last year's few potholes filled, and there's a much-needed new pit toilet at the trailhead. Thank you to everyone who works so hard on this trail. A fellow hiker told us to look soon for a book coming out on the wildflowers of Mt. Townsend. So happy to hear this!
