Why do we all keep going back to Barclay Lake? Because we love it. Its the comfey old sweater you just cant throw away. Barclay Lake as always is wonderful. Its short but not quick, it invites you to linger, to contemplate, to wonder what those funcky coloured fungi are that show up in late August. Im out there at least 6 times a year. I dont mean to do it, it just happens. Its like visiting an old friend. So go visit your friend. The trail is in great shape and the lake is down a bit so there is plenty of beach area. No bugs or blow downs. Plenty of great camping.
