Tomyhoi Lake. Leah Serna
At the trailhead 8:00 already 10-12 cars there. The trail is in good shape to the Yellow Aster/Tomyhoi Lake junction. If you don't want to drop down into the lake, go to the top of the ridge which is only about 10 mins, it is pretty straight up so could take a bit longer for some. The view is amazing and well worth it. The trail down is very steep and rocky to begin with, then goes thru meadows, then back thru woods we did hit a few blow downs and some snow crossing pretty close to the lake,(thank you Mountain man for flagging your trip Aug 5). Highlights of the trip Wildflowers,Camp Robbers also known as Gray jays a Wilson Warbler, and one 2 point buck. Suggestion please park your car well off the road. When we got back probably 50 cars along the road, you need to allow for others to get back down the road safely. Please Pack out your litter.

Red Top Lookout

Snoqualmie Pass

Whether you're camping near Cle Elum or just want a prime picnic location for a short Saturday hike, you'll only have to climb a mile on this steep, easy-to-follow trail to get stunning views from a fire lookout (and cool alpine outhouse). It can be great for kids, but keep them close on the exposed summit.
