Agency: Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest - Skykomish Ranger District
Trails: Lake Serene (#1068)
Avg Rating: 4.44
Arrived in the parking lot at about 9:00 and was on the trail by 9:15 with very few people/cars around. I headed to the falls first where there was only one other group, had a quick snack and then was back on the trail to the lake. I passed a few others on the way to the lake, maybe 10-12 total, and a couple of people already coming down. I made it to the lake just in time for lunch with no real issues except a few large loose rocks on the trail. I had lunch, dipped my feet in the lake and headed down.

Trailhead to Falls: 0:45
Falls to Lake: 2:15
Lake to Trailhead: 2:00

Total of three hours up, two hours down. All in all a great hike; highly recommended. Make sure you arrive early as the parking lot was completely full with cars parked all the way down to the highway and people following you to your car to claim a spot.
