The last 10 miles of the drive are on a pothole filled washboard dirt road so maybe because of that I only saw a few people or it could be the Seahawks vs Dallas. It's late in the season so no real flowers to speak. I got to the lookout and with all the fires in eastern washington all the views were hazy. I will have to try this again when it's clear because the location must give you an awesome view. Personally I would not bring a child or dog because this lookout is right on the edge and it's a long way down.
