Agency: Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest
Trails: Mount Dickerman (#710)
Avg Rating: 4.11
Trail was in excellent shape, a joy to hike.

Trailhead is well marked, 1.2 miles past the turn for the Big 4 Ice Caves trail. On this beautiful Friday morning at 8:30, there was only 1 car in the parking lot.

Thank you trail crews. This trial is beautiful and well maintained. It was completely snow free and dry. The views from the top are outstanding. A few flies and ants at the top but nothing biting. About 15 cars in the parking lot after my return early afternoon.

Lewis River Trail (Apr 10)

Lewis River Trail

South Cascades

We're at the cusp of waterfall season! With five waterfalls in a 7-mile roundtrip, this Lewis River hike is one to keep on your April-June to-do list. If you're hiking with creaky knees or kiddos, take in the magnificent, close-in Lower Lewis River Falls. If you want a longer hike with some ups and downs, venture all the way to Taidnapum Falls, 3.5 miles in.
