Beautiful day.
Trail is in great shape. Saw where the new trail is being built to come in from the new parking area -- looks like they are doing a great job! Snow is encountered upon reaching the alpine open spaces, the last 1+ miles. Stay on the trail or on snow -- dont trample the heather! Ice axe and gaiters not needed, but always recommended. Fantastic views, had the top to ourselves, and encountered mobs coming up as we went back down. 5 hours rt.
