I thought it should
be mentioned that on Aug 23rd my son and I encountered a large group of volunteer WTA people working hard to make the trail to the Enchantments a better trail. I just wanted to take the opportunity and tell those of you that were involved (between snow creek wall and the foot bridge over snow creek, thank you. My friend Dennis and I had the opportunity to use this trail again this past weekend and it was obvious to me how much the trail had been improved in this section by you. I feel that I too must pitch in and help out and so next year I will join in and help on trail work. Dennis and I had two ""perfect days"" in the Enchantment area and the highlight was meeting so many other hikers, particularly Slide Alder and his wife. They represent the quality of the people that backpack. Again, thanks to the WTA trail crews, your work is appreciated. Dean L.
