Soloed Mt. Washington this morning. Approach road is in good condition, no problems other than occassional washboard and potholes. Approach ""trail"" varies from quite good to very sketchy. Still quite a bit of snow in Big Creek basin. Evidence of a massive avalance/blow-down in the basin, like someone bombed the place. Some snow bridges are starting to get a little thin, test them thoroughly before crossing. Mostly clear skies, with some patchy clouds drifting through on upper thousand feet of the peak. No one else on the mountain today. 2 hours 20 minutes up, 1 hour 10 minutes down. A great day!
