Mount Lillian #1601,Tip Top #1204,Howard Creek #1372

Short Mt. Lillian Loop as described in the 100 hikes book: A dry and sunny day East of the mountains. Encountered no other hikers, one horse party, and a few vehicles on the access road (including hunters). The trail itself is in fine shape even though it's clearly heavily used by motors and horses, leading to great views to the east and north, and also Stewart and Rainier. Don't miss the turn to the left at the high point in the trail, we did and ended up on the road somewhere unexpected (and half the little roads are missing on the Green Trails map, we got confused a few times.)
