Magnificent! The Mountaineers have good reason for including it in the top 55 trails in the Northwest!

Leaving Woodinville at 5:00 am, we arrived at The Eatery in Marblemount at 7:00 for a great breakfast. After the long ride on the Cascade River road, we hit the trail (3600 feet) at 9:15. Taking our time for good conversation, soaking in the views, and snacks/lunch, we arrived at the Sahale Glacier (7600 feet) at 2:15 pm.

The views were magnificent! Every direction was incredible! It was well worth the 4000 feet elevation gain. Cascade Pass (5400 feet) was excellent, Sahale Arm (6600 feet) was outstanding, but Sahale Glacier was magnificent. We experienced no crowds, few bugs, plenty of marmots, mostly blue skies, cool temperatures, and lots more. It was a perfect day for hiking in Washington!

We made it back to the car at 5:45, and back to Woodinville at 9:00 pm, tired but completely satisfied.
