A warm saturday and the only car in the parking lot was mine. A few minor trees down in the first 10 minutes, but no damage noted after that point. Steep and hot and little bit lonely. Made it about a 2/3 of the way up, past the campsite and into the, now, charred forest before the trail disappeared into mud and snow. The blackened trees were eerie and beautiful. I was afraid it was going to be a hike without a ""destination,"" but the remains of the fire were plenty reason to make the climb.
