Dayhike.3 topics on the wish-list.Loophike, no snow and not too far away All wishes came true..On my way home yesterday from Dirty Harry I noticed that Tenerife was snow free.A plan was forming in my little peabrain.

Parked at the schoolbus turnaround 1+ mile from Si TH.Hiked up the logging road for 1 mile and took a right into the unofficial trail up to T.Following the creek, then Kamikatze falls and the ridge to the top.STEEP.Trail easy to follow. So steep that the hiking poles were more a nuisance than help.Windy on top.Trail down towards Tenerife road is superb until you hit the treemassacre and the new road coming up from the saddle.Followed road down to Mnt Si cutoff spur.Spur all dry and easy to follow.A little overgrown in the middle part ,but no problems.Spur dumps you out on Si trail next to the bench at bottom of Haystack. Then joined the Si parade down to the parking lot.Met 51 people in the rain,no floats. From parking followed Si road, asfalt for 1+ mile back to car.

Looptrip 13miles? 4000feet

Excitement of the day.:Felt good all day.
