Be Aware Of
  • Snow on trail

Shadow and Friends hiked to Minotaur Lake #1517 on July 17th. The south facing steep part of the trail was clear of snow until the very last section where the trail flattens out and there is snow from there to the lake. The Lake is clear of ice. Beautiful as always. This trail is short, very steep and muddy. Hiking poles help. Access is now open from RT 2 over Smith Brook Road FS #6700 or you can access the trail head by driving west up the Little Wenatchee Rd from Lake Wenatchee.
