Unimpressed by the inedible grandeur of Nature

Can't eat it, sniff it, chew it, or roll in it. Useless. Seems sorta cool anyway.
Vandalism on Navaho Peak
By Cascade Liberation Organization
That's a 4" dia. whitebark pine above 7000' on Navaho summit, a very old tree, cut this winter. There were others. Note top lying on snow behind ice ax. Who does this? Keep an eye out, and report it.

Silver Star Sunset
By Lauren
My friends and I have been eager to get up to Silver Star ever since the snow melted. We made it up the other day just in time for the sunset. The view from the top is never disappointing, offering fantastic views of Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Ranier, Mt. Adams, and Mt. Hood. Also impressive is the wide variety of wild flowers to be found on the trail all summer long!
