I joined the crowds Sat. Sept. 10 with family for a short hike to Panorama Point (from Paradise). My 4 year old grandson enjoyed the "hard parts" (snow and rock steps). His favorite part of the hike was the snow. The wildflowers are at their peak. Saturday was a bit hazy, but the clear blue sky and up close views of the mountain across the flowered meadows was awesome even with the crowds (hundreds of people).
